Welcome to High Plains Scuba, the premiere aquatic education program in Fort Collins! We offer year-round swim lessons for ages 6 months to adults. You and your child will find yourselves surrounded by a staff dedicated to making this swim lesson experience one of your child’s fondest memories!

High Plains Scuba Center’s Swim Program

We follow Swim School International‘s program. This program is unique because:

• Learning is structured into 18 different levels of swim classes.
• Swimmers progress at their own rate through each class. Once the goals for a class are achieved, the swimmer advances to the next level.
• Classes are kept private, one on one for an optimal learning experience.

Rates

• Kids lesson - 30 minute private lesson:  $50.00 per lesson
• Adult lesson - 60 minute private lesson:  $60.00 per lesson

The many different class levels that are offered at High Plains Scuba are the result of more than 30 years of experience in aquatic education! One of these class levels is sure to be perfect for your child.

​Our PoolOur pool is maintained at 88 degrees – warmer than any other pool in Northern Colorado. This is especially important for the comfort of children and seniors while learning swimming skills.Our Certified TeachersAt the heart of our swim program is a teaching staff that is known for their patience and affection for children. Our teachers form an emotional bond that plays an important role in your child’s success.Our teachers are carefully selected for their maturity, understanding of child development and teaching skills. In addition to completing the extensive Swim Schools International training, they participate in staff in-service training on a regular basis.Personalized InstructionClasses are 30 minutes, once a week using our award-winning “Gold Script” curriculum. All classes are a 1 to 1 student to teacher ratio, so swimmers get individualized attention while learning skills.Adults Too! Our classes are specifically designed to help adult non-swimmers feel comfortable and competent in the water.
